Jacob Douglas is a teenager from Christchurch who has a goal to become a professional race car driver. Jacob started racing at age 8, by age 15 he was 4 times New Zealand Karting Champion and stepped up to New Zealand Formula Ford where he finished 3rd and took out the South Island Rookie of the Year title.

Over the past 4 years, Jacob has won races in Germany, Italy, Thailand, the USA & Australia. He is also the only NZ racer ever to be selected by the FIA CIK to attend their World Academy Championship.

Road To Indy – Having enjoyed a successful career in motorsport starting in Karts and competing at the highest level, Jacob has been transitioning into race cars competing in Formula Ford in 2020 and then into USA F4 and now TRS in New Zealand. Watch this amazing motorsport journey that Jacob and his family have shared together and now look forward to a professional career in hopefully one day the Indy Car championship.
